The Truth is a Lie

The Truth is a Lie is a gripping and emotionally charged story about one girl’s fight to break free from the beliefs that shaped her existence.

Fifteen-year-old Sara has always followed the rules. In her community, obedience is everything, and asking questions is dangerous. She’s taught to avoid anyone who doesn’t share her beliefs and to trust loyalty to keep her safe. But after winning an art contest, Sara begins to see life differently—and cracks form in what she thought was true.

When Sara uncovers a devastating secret, she realizes she’s trapped in a cult.

As the lies unravel, she faces an impossible choice: stay and protect those she loves or run toward a world she’s been taught to fear.

Inspired by true events, The Truth is a Lie is a raw, powerful story of identity, survival, and the courage it takes to choose your own future.

  1. I’m looking forward to reading your book. I was raised one of JW’s and broke free 13 years ago. It came with a large price but I did it and have a very different lens toward life and the “world”.
