Meet Me In The Woods
Oops. Lowen Lawrence unknowingly breaks an ancient curse that changes the game in the supernatural world.
After participating in her town’s quirky, annual Moon Water ritual, Lowen feels off. Maybe it’s because she keeps finding herself lying in the same spot under the same tree in the Moon Creek woods, or maybe it’s because of the heavy sadness and vivid dreams that accompany her new, odd habit.
Mysteriously, not one, but two handsome strangers pop up into town after the Moon Water ritual. One is Sebastian, who effortlessly sweeps Lowen off of her feet with his dazzling emerald eyes. The other is melancholy Wesley, who she feels like she’s known her entire life, but who gets under her skin. After Lowen and her Lit Classics teacher recover an ancient photo album from an abandoned farmhouse, Lowen recognizes two of the faces staring at her in the nineteenth century photographs: Sebastian and Wesley. Could they really be over one hundred years old? And what do they want from her? When a classmate, who happens to look incredibly similar to Lowen, is murdered at a Halloween party, Lowen realizes that whatever is happening isn’t a game to take lightly.
Luckily, Lowen isn’t alone as she tries to figure out the mysteries lurking beneath the surface of her once-sleepy town. Her two best friends, Noah and Taylor, have found their own dormant, mysterious abilities after the Moon Water ritual. The three friends find themselves thrown into the mysteries of alchemy, telepathy, and witchcraft as they attempt to find out who–or what–is chasing Lowen and murdering girls who look like her. If they can’t figure out why she is in danger and how Sebastian and Wesley are connected, they realize that Lowen could become the next ghost to haunt Moon Creek.
